My story

I'm an IT Project Manager who has spent my entire professional life in the IT industry, and I've always had a fascination with technology. But in addition to my love of technology, I've always been a big sports fan. I started playing handball at a very young age, and although I eventually slowed down on competitions and training, I continued my fitness journey. It wasn't until I was 39 that I discovered competitive bodybuilding, and from that point on, fitness became an even bigger part of my life. I became serious and knowledgeable about my diet and training, and even passed a Personal Trainer certification from NASM (National Academy of Sport and Medicine).
While preparing for competitions, I always wanted to track my physical progress as accurately as possible. Traditional methods of tracking body composition, based on total weight and fat percentage, were rough estimates. But then, at the FIBO expo, I discovered the Inbody scan. I was immediately impressed by the technology and the information provided by the device.
For years, I had access to an Inbody scan at the gym of my company. But when I left, I struggled to find a location to do the scan that was both close and affordable. That's when I decided to make body composition scans available to anyone who was interested, and all for an affordable price. I wanted to bring this technology to my own gym, Cardiofitness Beverwijk.
Now, I split my time between my role as an IT Project Manager and my passion for fitness. I'm dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals using the power of technology.
